The No. 25 Cajun Industries/ HT Motorsports Toyota Tundra Race Recap
- Cook qualified his No. 25 Cajun Industries Toyota Tundra in the 25th spot with a lap time of 30.956 seconds at a speed of 174.441 mph.
- By the first caution on lap 17 Cook said, “The truck is way too loose getting in the corner.” Crew Chief Danny Rollins called for the team to open up the front shocks during the pit stop to help the rear grip problem Cook was having. - The second caution came out on lap 55. Cook said, “Now it is way too tight back to the throttle but over the bumps it gets loose. The corner entry is good now.” The team pitted on lap 50 for four fresh Goodyear Wranglers and again the following lap for Sunoco fuel. While in the pits the team made adjustments to the wedge and track bar trying to fix the condition.
- The race resumed on lap 59 and by lap 85 Cook fell one lap down to the leader.
- Then on lap 88 Cook said, “The truck is unpredictable. One lap it is tight getting in the corner and then the next it is loose.” The team called Cook into the pits on lap 91 and gave him four fresh Goodyear Wrangler tires. Then the following lap the team added more Sunoco fuel while using the time to open up the right rear shock in efforts to help. They also made adjustments to the track bar and wedge.
- Cook restarted in the 24th position on lap 93.
- On lap 133 Cook fell another lap down to the leader. Cook went on to finish the event in the 24th position, four laps down.
