On A Roll: “It is so fun to go to the race track right now. When you feel like every time you step foot into your race truck and can bring home a win, then you really look forward to the next event. I feel like at the start of every race we are moving forward. Our team is really gelling right now and it has shown in our performances. It’s disappointing to finish 10th like we did last week when I know I could have given them a run for the win. I’m so proud of this team and to be associated with all that they are doing behind the scenes right now to get us even higher each week. We are on a roll and those wins will come soon.”
Memphis Advance: “I went to Memphis a couple of weeks ago with Brian Scott and had the chance to do some go cart racing against the media. It’s fun to see and hang out with the media like that in a different light. We build relationships with people just by talking to them each week year after year, but competing against them on the go cart track shed a whole new light on their aggression. They were determined to beat me and Brian and went to all lengths to show us they would. I enjoyed the lighthearted competition and really had a great time.”
Elvis Fan: “I’m a huge Elvis fan. So when we got to tour Graceland and be on Elvis Radio it was a great experience for me. I have toured there before, and done a lot of research about Elvis. So when we went through the place I was telling people things that were not on the tour guide. They told me when my racing gig ended I needed to get a job there. I just have so much respect for what he did for music that I eat that stuff up. What an Icon he was, and even still is. I’m thankful that the race track asked me to be a part of it.”
