First Father’s Day: “I’m so excited to be a new dad and to be able to celebrate Father’s Day with my son is one of the coolest things. I can remember the times I went with my dad to the race track as a little boy. I remember how it looked, how I felt so mesmerized by the sounds and the smells and I remember those days with him the most. I was this eager kid and he showed me the ropes of the race track. It hooked me right then and there. I cannot wait to be able to take David Starr Jr., to the race track with me and see it all through his eyes. I would love to wish all those dads, new ones and old ones, a Happy Father’s Day out there.”
Milwaukee Mile and Goodyear Wranglers: “Milwaukee proves to be another track that is critical on tires. We seem to be seeing that a lot lately. You can put on a set of tires at the end of the race in Milwaukee and blaze right by several people. So the team that manages to be able to save a set for the end will be a force there.”
The Mile: “This track is typical flat race track. If you can turn through the center, then you will most likely be running up front there. It’s important to not use up the brakes or get a wheel spin when you go through the corners because the track is like a diamond shape almost. This race track is very chassis-dependant and so if you have the right package under you and can run through the center, you will be right on target for the race. I’m looking forward to racing there with HT Motorsports. Milwaukee always proves to have a good race for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.”
